It is possible for you to live a healthy, fulfilling life.
You haven’t been feeling like yourself. You’re struggling to accomplish tasks, you are constantly feeling overwhelmed with stress, and no matter how hard you try, you just can’t move forward.
You’ve come to the right place.
Hi, I’m Cheryl
Being human can feel vulnerable at times, but it's also wonderful
As a former military brat, I was able to experience different cultures. Through these experiences, I learned that no matter where someone is in the world, we all want the same things. We want to live a life unencumbered by anxiety and stress, where happiness is a familiar feeling instead of a distant memory. Even if we come from different backgrounds, I am here to support and guide you.
I work with adults who struggle to move forward in their life. Adjusting to change can feel overwhelming and scary; even the smallest changes may feel difficult to cope with. Whether you feel held back by stress, anxiety, or trauma, we will work collaboratively to overcome these obstacles.
I love the process of therapy because it allows for a deep connection with another human being. I’m passionate about enjoying the life that you have, because I know what it feels like to not enjoy it. In our work together, you’ll not only get a therapist but someone who truly understands what you’re experiencing. I am here to sit with you in the uncomfortable moments, help you process your emotions, and empower you with the tools to manage these difficult situations in the future.
Education and Board Certification

Guiding Principles
Honesty
Being your honest, most truthful self is essential to having success in therapy. I value creating a brave environment that provides you with the safety and support to be your most honest self, even in moments that feel difficult.
Compassion
I will listen, connect with, and acknowledge your experiences and pain. I will demonstrate care and understanding for the unique experiences that have led you to this point in your life.
Empathy
We do not need to have lived the same experiences to know and understand each other. Empathy is the emotional bridge that connects us during moments of happiness and moments of suffering, allowing us to do the deeper work and make the most meaningful changes.
THERAPY IS NOT “ONE-SIZE-FITS-ALL”
You are a unique person with your own experiences and emotions.
Our time in therapy together will be tailored to you, what you’re struggling with, and where you’d like to be. I will acknowledge and honor your personal experiences by meeting you where you are in your journey. Together, we’ll explore and process the struggles you’re facing while developing the tools and understanding to work through them going forward.
